Patient Shalini (Name changed), 22 year visited Dr Shuken Dashore with a tattoo on her arm. She wished to join the Air hostess programme and wanted the tattoo removed. Laser was the only option for her. Luckily she had only black colour in her tattoo which is easier to remove. Red can also be removed. Green and yellow are very difficult. Because of her time constraints (of the interview) sessions were given every twenty days. She was advised to apply topical anesthetic cream to make the procedure painless. The Revlite SI laser was used to treat her tattoo. Revlite SI laser is the world’s most advanced laser for fairness, pigment removal and tattoo removal in the world. First Revlite SI machine in the country has been installed at Dashore’s DHL centre, Vijay Nagar, Indore. Within four sessions her tattoo disappeared completely. Normally more sessions may be required but due to Shalini’s punctual visits and Dr Shuken Dashore’s rapid escalation of doses, faster results were achieved safely. R20 protocol wasn’t followed for her as it is associated with 3 sessions of laser in the gap of 20 min. This may be associated with scarring so we don’t do it. Safety is paramount.
